Jafari Events Privacy Policy

1. Information stored on your device

Jafari Events stores settings required to provide its features locally on your device. These may include:

• Hijri date adjustment settings;
• locally confirmed Hijri month starts;
• 29-day or 30-day month-length preferences;
• notification preferences;
• sound and vibration preferences;
• System, Light, or Dark theme preference; and
• other application settings required for normal operation.

These settings are stored in the app's private local storage and are not uploaded to the developer. They normally remain on the device until you change them, clear the app's data, use an available reset/clear option, or uninstall the application.

2. Information Jafari Events does not directly request

Jafari Events does not require user registration or an account and does not directly ask you to provide your name, phone number, postal address, contacts, precise GPS location, photos, videos, microphone recordings, camera content, SMS messages, call logs, or broad file/storage access.

The current version of the app does not request Android location permission.

3. Advertising, Advertising ID, and Google Mobile Ads

Jafari Events uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner advertisements.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect, process, or share certain technical information for advertising, analytics, ad measurement, security, and fraud-prevention purposes. Depending on the device, region, consent status, Google services, and SDK behavior, this information may include:

• the device's IP address;
• device identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID), App Set ID, or other app/device identifiers;
• advertisement and app interaction information;
• app launches, taps, and related user-product interactions;
• diagnostic and performance information such as app or SDK performance, crashes, hangs, or similar technical information; and
• general or approximate location inferred from information such as an IP address.

Jafari Events declares use of the Android Advertising ID because the Google Mobile Ads SDK used by the app may access the Advertising ID.

Users may be able to reset or delete their Advertising ID through the advertising/privacy controls provided in Android system settings.

The app configures Google Mobile Ads with publisher privacy personalization disabled. However, non-personalized or limited advertising may still require Google and its advertising services to process certain technical information for functions such as ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

4. Google User Messaging Platform and consent

Jafari Events uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request, store, and manage advertising privacy or consent choices where required by applicable law or Google policy.

Advertisement requests are made according to the consent state provided by Google UMP. Where Google indicates that additional privacy options are required or available, Jafari Events may provide access to those options from the app's Privacy section.

Consent requirements and available privacy controls may vary depending on your country or region.

5. Google Play update checks

When an internet connection is available, Jafari Events may use Google Play services to check whether a newer version of the application is available.

This update-checking feature does not send your calendar selections, Hijri adjustments, moon-sighting choices, locally stored event preferences, or religious-use information to the developer.

6. Notifications, sound, vibration, and reboot handling

If event reminders are enabled, Jafari Events schedules local notifications on your device.

Android notification, sound, vibration, wake-lock, alarm, and reboot-related capabilities may be used to deliver or restore these reminders. Notification preferences are stored locally on your device.

The app also provides a Test Notification feature so that users can verify notification sound and vibration behavior on their device.

7. Offline functionality

The core calendar is designed to work without an internet connection. Hijri calculations and the primary Islamic event database are bundled with or stored locally by the application.

If optional online services such as advertisements, consent services, or Google Play update checking are unavailable, the core calendar and event database are designed to remain usable.

8. Data sharing and sale

The developer does not sell your locally stored personal information, calendar settings, Hijri adjustments, moon-sighting settings, or religious-use information.

Jafari Events does not upload these locally stored calendar preferences to a developer-operated server.

Third-party services integrated into the app, particularly Google AdMob, Google Mobile Ads, Google UMP, and Google Play services, may collect, process, or share technical data independently in accordance with their own privacy policies, service terms, consent requirements, and applicable law.

9. Data retention and deletion

Settings stored by Jafari Events remain locally on the device until they are changed, reset, cleared through the app or Android system settings, or removed when the application is uninstalled.

Information processed independently by Google or other third-party service providers is subject to those providers' own data-retention and deletion practices.

10. Data security

Jafari Events is designed to minimize the amount of app-specific information transmitted online.

Data transmitted by Google Mobile Ads and related Google services is protected in transit using secure transport such as TLS as documented by Google.

No electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security, but reasonable technical measures are used by the app and its service providers to protect information.

11. Children's privacy

Jafari Events does not provide user accounts or forms for submitting personal information directly to the developer.

The app's advertising and consent configuration must be used consistently with the target-audience settings selected for Jafari Events in Google Play and with any applicable child-directed or family-related requirements.

12. Third-party services

Jafari Events may use or interact with third-party services including:

• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK;
• Google User Messaging Platform (UMP); and

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's features, permissions, SDKs, advertising configuration, third-party services, or legal obligations change.
